About ExecTech Management Consulting

ExecTech was formed in February 1991 by three consultants with one purpose: to help practice owners reach their goals. We found the most effective way to do this, and to help you earn greater profits with less stress, is by providing you with tailor-made consulting and performance coaching completely based on implementation.

Unlike other consulting firms, ExecTech’s help does not consist of motivational seminars in distant locations, cookie-cutter advice or recommendations that you cannot use. While other consultants may come into your practice once or twice a year, if at all, ExecTech works with you and your staff every month.

ExecTech works exclusively with medical, dental and optometric practice owners and specializes in consulting for the following areas for practices:

  • Public Relations

  • Marketing

  • Review Websites

  • Web Presence

  • First Impressions for Patients

  • Staff Hiring, Training, Managing and Termination

  • Patient Management

  • Collections

  • Plan Management

  • Time Management

  • People Skills

  • Overhead Management

  • Motivation

  • Strategic Planning

Our Purpose

To help practice owners increase their personal income, reduce their stress levels and reach their goals. At ExecTech, we are interested in YOU.

  • Are you earning the profit you deserve?

  • Is practice ownership causing you stress?

  • Do you lack the leadership skills it takes to command a successful practice?

  • Are you making steady progress toward your goals?

In other words, ExecTech helps your practice become the practice of your dreams. For most practice owners, this dream includes:

  • An efficient, caring, loyal staff that successfully completes every task you assign.

  • Patients who appreciate your excellent work, ensure you get paid and recommend you to their family and friends.

  • A steady stream of qualified patients.

  • Enough income to support the lifestyle you and your family deserve.

  • A work schedule of 40 or fewer hours per week.

  • Most importantly, your practice gives you more than it takes.

Deanne Macdonald, Managing Partner

After 20 years in management, Deanne switched careers to join ExecTech in 2008 as a consultant. Because of her performance with her clients, she soon joined ExecTech of Colorado founding partners, Jim Werner and Mike Chatelain as a new partner. When Jim retired as the Managing Partner in 2010, Deanne was the obvious choice for the Managing Partner position.

As a consultant, Deanne does whatever is necessary to ensure all of her clients enjoy the benefits of reaching their goals. To do this, she makes herself available to her clients nearly 24/7 and enjoys helping them conquer their management problems with creative solutions so they can move up to their next level of success.

Deanne has lived in Colorado since she was four and currently lives in Englewood. She spends her time with friends, enjoying the outdoors and winning pool games. Like most people in the area, she always feels happier when she comes home from travelling and sees the mountains.

Contact Deanne by email or by calling her at (888) 361-8400.

Mike Graves, Senior Consultant

Mike Graves began consulting the health care industry in 1984. Since that time he has consulted more than 2000 healthcare practices across the U.S. He moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined ExecTech as a partner in 1996. Shortly after that he was named Senior Consultant and has helped train consultants across the country.

His consulting philosophy is simple: “As far as I am concerned, there is no problem that does not have a solution.” When clients come to ExecTech, they bring us their dreams and ask us to help them achieve those dreams. This is more than just a job, it is a trust and a privilege.

Mike is also an award-winning writer and enjoys home construction projects, cooking, and spending time with his wife and two dogs at their home in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Ken Daniells, Senior Consultant

Ken has been advising healthcare and other professionals for over twenty years. After college, he first joined ExecTech in 2001 before leaving to found three successful companies of his own. After selling his direct marketing company to a large competitor in 2013, he returned to the world of consulting and to ExecTech, where he routinely helps his clients to increase their profits and reduce stress.

Ken focuses on identifying the key blocks that hold a practice and its managers back from their potential. He puts a priority on data-driven analysis and has a deep understanding of the underlying human factors involved. Using this approach, he consistently helps his clients build happy, productive teams and smooth-running practices that generate tons of profit.

An avid learner and outdoor enthusiast, Ken spends his free time reading, writing, camping, biking, cooking and playing chess.
